VACATION RENTAL GUIDELINES

What are the payment rules for my reservation?

An initial deposit of 25% of the total is required on all reservations in order to confirm your stay. The balance of your reservation is due as follows:

Full payment on all reservations is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. If the reservation is booked within 30 days of arrival full payment is required at the time of booking.
A damage protection policy covering up to $1500 of unintended damages is required to book any property and has been included in your total.

What is the cancellation policy?

Bookings canceled at least 30 days before check-in will receive a 100% refund.

Bookings canceled at least 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.

Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival will receive no refund. We strongly recommend you Purchase Travel Insurance to protect up to 100% of your vacation investment for covered reasons such as illness (including contracting COVID), injury or death in the family or to someone in the traveling party, natural disasters (not COVID-related shutdowns), travel delays and much more.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

Vacation Rental Insurance is available for purchase. Purchase Travel Insurance to protect up to 100% of your vacation investment for covered reasons such as illness (including contracting COVID), injury or death in the family or to someone in the traveling party, natural disasters (not COVID-related shutdowns), travel delays and much more.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check out is by 11 am.
Check in is after 4 pm.
Early check-ins can happen (subject to availability) at some properties,
Late check-outs can be arranged (subject to availability) at some properties.

Can I book a 2-night stay anywhere?

Length of stay requirements are set by local authorities and individual owners. Some properties (Oceania Beach Club, for example) do offer 2-night stays if booked at the last minute. For example, it’s Monday and you decide to head to the beach for the weekend but only want Friday and Saturday night – that can happen based on availability. Check online, email, or call for any special requests.

Are there any age restrictions in place?

Most jurisdictions require the booking party to be at least 25 years of age. If you are traveling with minors, one occupant 25 or older must be present at all times the condo is occupied.

Accessibility or Special Needs

We do not have specific units designated as “handicapped accessible.

Are there maximum people per property rules?

Yes, all properties are designed to comfortably sleep up to a certain number of people (defined as all humans 2 years old and up). Individual property listings show the max number of occupants allowed. And you can search based on how many people too.

Note: occupancy rules are strictly enforced as they are often set by local authorities and none of us want to get on their bad side.

What can I expect to find in the kitchen?

Each property is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Those with a fully equipped kitchen have a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and basic cooking utensils. If you enjoy coffee, plan to bring your favorite coffee and filters. If you have a specific need or question, give us a call at 386-423-8400 or email us.

What can I expect for housekeeping & supplies?

All properties have at least an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours. We recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach items, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation.

Some properties (Oceania Beach Club, for example) do provide additional services as part of your rental. Please see individual listings for details.

What is your Hurricane Policy?

Casago New Smyrna Beach does not offer refunds or reschedule trips due to hurricane activity. If you are concerned about possible interruption, cancellation, or delayed travel due to tropical occurrences, you are strongly encouraged to Purchase Travel Insurance. Travel Insurance can protect up to 100% of your vacation investment for covered reasons such as illness (including contracting COVID), injury or death in the family or to someone in the traveling party, natural disasters (not COVID-related shutdowns), travel delays and much more.

What’s the deal with parking?

Parking rules vary per property but are strictly enforced – especially for beach-side properties. Note: Casago New Smyrna Beach is not responsible for any parking rules and/or towing events.

Can I park my boat, motorcycle, or trailer on-site?

Each property has specific rules about boat, motorcycle and trailer parking. See individual listings for additional details.

Can I bring my dog?

Pet policies vary by property. Please see individual Listings for rules & regulations. Bringing a pet to a non-pet property may result in additional fees and/or eviction without refund of any monies paid.

Are washers & dryers on property?

Laundry facilities vary by property. Some are inside the condo/home, some complexes have coin-operated facilities on-site. See individual listings for details.

Is there a grill on the property?
